OlmosPainting
Service areas

All of Dane County, within about 40 miles of Madison.

Fourteen communities have their own page, and they are genuinely different pages. A 1908 Stoughton foursquare with six layers of lead paint and a 2016 Verona build with fiber cement are not the same job, and pretending otherwise is how homeowners get bad estimates.

Olmos Painting serves Madison and all of Dane County, plus nearby communities in Rock, Columbia, Sauk, Jefferson, Green, and Iowa counties. There is no travel surcharge anywhere inside Dane County, and pricing is identical in every town we serve.

Communities without their own page.

We work in these towns regularly. They do not have a dedicated page yet, but the service, the pricing, and the crew are exactly the same.

Local knowledge

Why the town matters more than the square footage.

Dane County housing stock varies enormously across about twenty miles. The near east side of Madison and downtown Stoughton are full of pre-1930 wood-frame homes with plaster interiors and lead paint under five later coats. Verona and Sun Prairie are almost entirely post-1995 engineered siding. Monona is a mid-century city with original aluminum and birch kitchens.

Those are three different trades. The first needs containment, hand scraping, and plaster work. The second needs a wash and a good coating. The third needs a chalk wash and a bonding primer that most painters skip, which is why aluminum has an undeserved reputation.

Every city page here starts with what the houses in that town are actually made of, because that is what determines your estimate.
