The family name is on every job.

Oswaldo Olmos started painting in 2000, working for someone else. When you paint for an employer, the jobs that get looked at go to the painter the boss trusts, and for him that was usually the front door and the entry. He went out on his own when the quality of his work and what he knew had outgrown the job he had, and because he wanted to do more of that work for the community he lived in.

What stayed with him from those years is that every surface gets looked at by somebody. The cut line where the wall meets the ceiling, the face of a cabinet door, the entry a guest stands in front of while they wait. The job is only right when it is right up close, and that is the standard the company was built on.

Today the company is a small crew that completes 30 to 40 jobs a year, and most of them come from someone who was told about us by a person we had already painted for. We would rather say that plainly than dress it up: referrals are how the phone rings, and they only keep ringing if the last job was right.

Three things happen on every one of those jobs. The preparation gets done when it should, not squeezed in after the color is already on the wall. We check the work ourselves before we call it finished. And then we walk it with you, fix what you point at, and clean up. Prep is the paint job, and the check and the clean-up are the part of it that people remember.

We do not sell you a brand. 26 years of watching coatings succeed and fail is what tells us which paint, which stain, and which primer belongs on a given surface with a given exposure, and that changes from a south-facing cedar door to a north-side block corridor. The estimate names what goes on your house and why. What it does not do is start from a can we were going to use anyway.
